AMERICA’S TOUGHEST SHERIFF JOE ARPAIO ENDORSES LAUREL IMER FOR CONGRESS
Colorado Springs, CO -- Republican candidate for Colorado’s 7th Congressional District Laurel Imer was endorsed by Former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Sheriff Arpaio is known as “America’s Toughest Sheriff” as the leading advocate for securing the Mexican-American Border, using effective tough on crime policies, and as an early supporter of President Donald Trump.
Sheriff Arpaio stated of his endorsement: “I had the pleasure of meeting Laurel Imer at the inauguration of President Donald Trump in 2017 and have known to count on her as a friend and ally who stands to protect America’s borders. She’s someone I can count on to kick down the door with me to fight for America First.”
Laurel Imer said “I am humbled to receive Sheriff Joe’s endorsement. He is an icon in the battle to save America. One of our first freedom fighters protecting our citizens from disastrous open border policies. About Laurel Imer
Laurel Imer is a Republican candidate in Colorado’s 7th Congressional District. In 2020 Laurel was hand-picked by President Donald J. Trump and his team to be his delegate to the Republican National Convention for Congressional District 7.
In the last election cycle, Laurel ran for Colorado's House District 24 as the Republican Nominee against incumbent Monica Duran (D). Laurel has been a small business owner, worked in sales, marketing, and advertising, been a Teacher’s Aide and volunteer in private Christian education, volunteered for several years in the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, and is a grassroots political activist. Laurel served as Jefferson County Chair for the Donald Trump Campaign in 2016.
Laurel was also picked by President Trump and his team to be one of Colorado's 9 Republican Presidential Electors at the Electoral College for the 2016 Presidential Election.
